Multiple Layers of Acne

I have a deep concern for those suffering from Acne.  With variable factors, acne can remain in the skin for many weeks if not treated properly.  These breakouts are in a level system from I-V.  It may be mostly congestion, clogged pores, large pores and skin that isn't clean enough.   The variation of acne is hard to manage.

Let's think about the occasional breakouts. They may be speckled throughout your face, maybe a cluster or so on your jawline.  But it's really One here and one there.  You do not have oily skin or large pores, but the acne is constant.

This is acne where you have a few clusters on your jawline,  a few clusters on your cheek and probably a few on your forehead.  You have many small pores with congestion and oily skin.   Breakouts are constant, red and sore.. they clear up sometimes.

You have large pores and they are congested all the time.  It is important for you to use an acne cleanser for most of the month.  Sometimes you get dry skin. The acne on your skin is constantly healing and breaking out.  It seems like it's not healing at all.

The acne is red and coating your cheeks, maybe your forehead. Blackheads are probable.  It's important for you to seek out professional guidance.  Detailed care at home or in a skincare center is necessary.

Cystic Acne

Some friends, they are experiencing deep painful cystic acne.  Sometimes the swelling of the skin is so large you need to put an ice cube on it.  In this case, multiple infections are occurring underneath the skin.  Acne that is unseen but almost boil-like.

Congested Acne

Some just experience these very bad eruptions, new lesions sprouting up and around the skin.   Blackheads can contribute to acne. Causing a continuous cycle of Acne.

Active Acne and Cystic Acne Treatments

For both Cystic Acne and Bad Eruptions of Acne.  The Sciton BBL is a terrific device to treat multiple conditions. Stands for Broad Band Light.  Another name for Intense Pulse Light.  IPL.  We use the Blue light filter, it helps to kill the bacteria in the skin.  It really causes the skin the release the acne from it's root and bring it to the surface.  Thus it allows healing and reduction of painful skin lesions.   I've seen acne improve when we used the Sciton BBL.  I would recommend this for ever acne client.

In-office Exfoliation treatments for Acne at Beaubien Holistic Care.
When there are occasional breakouts in the skin. I like to shrink the pores and bring down the infections in the skin. I really like Glytone Enerpeel products. These exfoliation treatments are super gentle on the skin when it's inflamed with acne.  For example, a reduction of the uneven texture in the skin which contributes to acne. The pore size and shape are remodeled to appear softer and smoother.  The scars from acne are reduced over a series of a few treatments.    

Home Care

Having the right arsenal at your home is essential for caring for your delicate skin.   You need ample supplies of cleansers, spot treatments and toners to dislodge the blackheads and get down deep to change the acne breakouts.   Get help from a trained Esthetician regarding what to use, and HOW and WHEN to use these products on your skin.   A dermatologist would be necessary if you need antibiotics or a prescription-strength cleanser and spot treatment.
